DISTRICT 7This position is assigned to District 7, and is under the supervision of the Metropolitan Police Captain. The incumbent maintains the division's Payroll, Time and Attendance; and any other duties as may be required.

Chief's OfficeThis position is assigned to the Office of the Chief of Police and provides clerical support to the Chief's Office and elsewhere as assigned.

RECORDS AND IDENTIFICATION DIVISIONThis position is under the supervision of the Senior Police Documents Clerk in the Records and Identification Division and is expected to progress to a Police Documents Clerk .

TRAFFIC DIVISIONThe incumbent performs various clerical services under the direct supervision of the section's lieutenant. The duties of this position include the transcription of statements of traffic cases; compilation/composition of statistical data; a variety of difficult clerical and routine administrative tasks, and other related duties.

SENIOR CLERK TYPIST
DISTRICT 1
Prepares the Payroll Time and Attendance Report. Is thoroughly knowledgeable about the Federal Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and procedures; codes, forms and work methods of the City’s computerized payroll system; a wide variety of personnel transactions, statutes, policies and rules and regulations in the processing of payroll sources documents.
